Helena’s is a women’s fashion boutique located in Arlington Center that carries women’s apparel and accessories. Founded in 2005 by Katherine Venzke, Helena’s was built on the style philosophy that a put together look is easier to obtain than many busy women think. Helena’s offers a collection of colorful, unique separates for everyday wear chosen for their versatility, wearability, and affordable price points, with new merchandise arriving weekly. In 2008, Helena’s received a “Best Of” award from Boston Magazine.
Katherine Venzke is the founder and proprietor of Helena’s. A former television and corporate media professional who produced shows for PBS, The Annenberg Channel, and Animal Planet, Venzke left the industry to start a family in 2001. Free from the structured looks of the corporate workplace, Venzke began to build an everyday wardrobe. “While looking for great chic separates that I could wear everyday and everywhere, I immediately noticed a lack of boutiques catering to my demographic,” says Venzke. She set out to fill that gap in the marketplace and opened Helena’s, named for her then two-year-old daughter, in 2005. “A good boutique can help a woman find the right fit, color and style to fulfill her fashion aspirations,” says Venzke. “At Helena’s, that’s what we do every day.”
