Who am I buying from? Local Hem carefully selects the best boutiques from around the country to offer their items on LocalHem.com. When you make a purchase from this website, you are actually purchasing it directly from the boutique. When you checkout, the boutique receives your order and ships the item(s) out to you directly.

Where are my items coming from? Your items are shipped directly to you by the boutiques. If you can’t remember which boutique(s) you ordered from, you can check your order confirmation email to see which boutique(s) your items are shipping from. All of the boutiques can be contacted directly by the email address and phone numbers listed on their “About” page.

What are the shipping costs? Each Local Hem online boutique has its own shipping policies. To find out the shipping cost for your order, go to the item you’re interested in and click the “Shipping” tab located below the “add to bag” button.

If you are ordering items from more than one boutique, check each boutique’s shipping rates to determine the total shipping cost for the order.

Do Local Hem’s boutiques ship internationally? Yes, all of our online boutiques offer international shipping! International shipping rates are set by the individual boutique. Please contact each boutique individually with any specific questions.

What are my payment options? All purchases are handled securely through PayPal, but you do not need a PayPal account to make a purchase. At the end of the checkout process you will be given the option of paying with a PayPal account or paying with your credit or debit card.

What are the return policies? Each online boutique has its own return & exchange policy. To find out the return policy for a specific item, go to the page of the item you are interested in and click the “Returns” tab located below the “add to bag” button.

Who do I contact about a return or an exchange? Each boutique has its own specific return policies. You can view these policies by viewing any item from their store and clicking on the “Returns” tab located below the “add to bag” button.

Does Local Hem sell gift cards? Yes! Local Hem wants to make it as easy as possible for people to shop boutiques online. To purchase a gift card simply scroll to the very bottom of this page and click on the “Gift Certificates” link at the bottom right. From there you will be taken to PayPal where you can purchase the gift card to print or email directly to the recipient (makes last-minute gift giving a breeze!).

I received a Local Hem gift card. Where can I redeem it? Local Hem gift cards can be used at any of our boutiques’ online stores. That is, they can be redeemed for any item(s) you see on LocalHem.com! Once you’ve selected your items, proceed to checkout and once you are in “Step 4” (the PayPal phase) of checkout you will be prompted to enter the code for any gift certificates you have.
